Digital opened its doors on Times Square, Newcastle in 2003 and has never looked back. What began as a single-room club has grown into a seven-room, 1,500-capacity institution — the kind of venue that DJs request rather than the other way around.
The Funktion-One rig in the Main Room is legendary: a full F221 system tuned by Tony Andrews himself, delivering 140dB of pristine, undistorted sound that you feel in your chest before you hear it in your ears. It’s the reason Carl Cox calls it “one of the finest rooms in Europe” and the reason DJ Mag voters have kept it in the Top 20 for seven consecutive years.
